Terms of Service

Welcome. By using WordBowl or creating an account on www.wordbowl.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password safe, and tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
• One account per person. Do not share logins or create accounts for other people without their consent.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other players.
• Try to break, probe, or overload the service, or use it for anything illegal.
• Scrape the site or hammer our APIs with automated tools.
• Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, or that you do not have the right to post.

Content

The game itself, including decks, prompts, artwork, and branding, belongs to WordBowl. You get a personal, non-transferable license to play. Anything you type into the game (like Bowl mode entries) stays yours; you grant us only the rights needed to run the service for you and your group.

Marketplace

If and when we sell items on this site (deck packs, merch, and so on), additional terms about payment, delivery, and refunds will be presented at checkout. Those terms will be part of this agreement for any purchase you make.

Service changes

WordBowl is under active development. Features may change, improve, or go away. We will do our best to give notice when something major changes.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uptime, and we are not liable for lost jokes, missed punchlines, or hurt feelings between teammates. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, which is likely zero.

Termination

You can delete your account any time by emailing hello@wordbowl.app. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and email account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
