Verbal
Sing it, define it, quote a movie. The only rule: do not say the word itself. This is where everyone hears every clue for the first time.
One bowl of words. Three rounds (and a secret fourth). Same words every round, three wildly different ways. By round two you already know every word in there. That is when it gets unhinged.
We grew up playing this with paper scraps in a kitchen bowl. This is that game with the timer, the score, and the arguments handled for you.
Browse curated themed decks (Entertainment, Food, Internet, more) for an instant bowl, or open Bowl mode to fill it yourselves.
In Bowl mode every player types in three to five entries on their own phone. Inside jokes welcome. Nobody sees whose are whose.
Hand one phone around the room, or have everyone join with a six-letter code and play live across devices.
The bowl never gets refilled. The exact same words you struggled through in round one come back for round two, and again for round three. You have technically heard them all already. You will still blank on every single one. And once you finish round three, the bowl is not done with you.
We are not telling you what it is. The bonus round only unlocks once you have played through all three. It changes how the bowl ends. That is all you get for now.
Every rule exists to keep the round moving. No score-keeper, no judge, no “wait, whose turn is it?”
Everyone on their own phone with realtime sync, or one shared device that pings around the couch. Same game, your call.
Ten-second prep, sixty seconds to clue, then the bowl passes. We run the timer.
After five total skips on a card, it burns out. No more endless looping.
Lowest team starts each round.
Bowl mode lets each player type their own entries at game time. Inside jokes, family names, the mascot you all hate.
In multi-device, your phone buzzes when it's your turn to clue. No yelling across the room.
We are polishing the last few rounds before launch. Drop your email and we will tell you the second WordBowl hits the App Store and Play Store, plus an early shot at the beta.
